Colorful Artwork in Buitenring Parkstad Limburg. BCT gives color to the Public Space!
The Buitenring will be a ring road around the city region of Parkstad Limburg, which includes the municipalities of Brunssum, Heerlen, Kerkrade, Landgraaf, Nuth, Onderbanken and Schinnen. The freeway will soon consist of two carriageways of two lanes each.
In this project, several underpasses will be constructed with corrugated steel profiles, and some of them are very special. Near Nuth, a brightly colored SuperCor bicycle tunnel was recently constructed. This SuperCor tunnel profile type SC-31B has a width of 7.3m and a height of 2.7m and a length of approx. 33m. The construction of this tunnel on a fixed foundation was realized in 6 days.
